The Whirlybird chainmail weave makes an intriguing pair of earrings. This pair was hand woven using saw cut anodized aluminum jump rings in turquoise. They hang from a short chain of silver aluminum jump rings which are attached to hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel ear wires.
Including the ear wire, these earrings measure 2 inches in length. They are 7/8 inch wide and 1/2 inch thick.
These earrings are currently on steel fish hook style ear wires, but can be switched to steel lever back ear wires if you prefer. Please select your choice of ear wire when adding them to your cart.
Aluminum is a lightweight metal that will not tarnish or rust, and is easy to care for. The colors of anodized aluminum can be scratched by harder metals so take care when storing your jewelry.
