These chainmaille earrings are unique and stunning! Red anodized aluminum jump rings were hand woven together to create these dodecahedron earrings. A dodecahedron is a 12 sided sphere shaped figure. There is a clear faceted round crystal in the center of each earring so the dodecahedrons will keep their round shape.
Aluminum is a lightweight metal that will not tarnish or rust, and is easy to care for. The colors of anodized aluminum can be scratched by harder metals so take care when storing your earrings. I only use high quality saw cut jump rings in my jewelry which allow for smooth closures that won't snag your hair or clothing. Please see complete care instructions in my shop policies.
These earrings dangle 2 inches from the top of the surgical stainless steel ear wires. The spheres are approximately 3/4 inch x 3/4 inch.
