The gay pride chainmail love knot pendant necklace is a simple and understated necklace that is great for work or play. Six anodized aluminum jump rings, one each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, were hand woven together to create this piece. The swirl of the knot is created when each new open jump ring is passed through all previous rings and then closed.
The pendant measures approximately 1 inch including the stainless steel bail. It is 5/8 inch (1.6cm) wide. The knot itself is 5/8 inch (1.6cm) by 5/8 inch (1.6cm), or slightly smaller than a dime. Dime shown for scale.

Aluminum is a lightweight metal that will not tarnish or rust, and is easy to care for. I only use high quality saw cut jump rings in my jewelry which allow for smooth closures that won't snag your hair or clothing.
